Southampton Athletic Club
Peter was a keen athlete all his life and lately spent a lot of time encouraging and helping young athletes at the Track used by Southampton Athletic Club.
Southampton Athletic Club is one of the largest athletic clubs in the South of England with 700 members many of them young athletes who are provided, via their academy, with an excellent introduction to a sport which Peter loved.
The club have suffered for over thirty years because of the lack of basic facilities at their track which is the only track in Southampton.
The Club have recently set up a charitable arm with the aim of improving and adding to their facilities.
His family feel this cause was very close to his heart and are sure that it is something Peter would have wished them to support.
